The repair process for In house and carry in jobs is as under :

        Customer carries machine to service centre.
        Machine is checked for warranty/non warranty/AMC.
        Customer  is  educated  about  the  warranty  policies  of  the  Principal company  in  case of 
          warranty & the Labour charges in case of non warranty.
        Machine is as a job in the system with serial number, accessories, consumables etc. and the 
          customer is given a tentative date of delivery  along with a job  slip  with a job number for future 
          tracking. For all future communication the customer is instructed to give only this number and 
          not his name.
        The machine & all it's accessories are tagged with the job number.
        The machine enters the service centre and all details are entered in the service centre log book 
          with the time & date of entry.
        The fault is diagonised and spares are replaced free in case of warranty.In case of non warranty 
          the customer is given a quote for Labour + parts & the equipment is repaired only after approval.
        The  machine is tested  under  Windows 95, DOS, & self  test  and these  are  attached  to  the 
          machine.
        The machine is thoroughly using cleaning solutions and is packed.
        An out entry is made in the service centre log book with the time and date of completion at the 
          service centre. Before  sending the  machine to  the  out  rack  at  the  administration office  all 
          accessories & consumables which came with the machine are checked & packed.
        The machine is sent to the out rack and the customer is informed about the status.
        Payments are collected on delivery or CSO is prepared and filed for warranty claim.
